Brixham is an active, pretty fishing harbour built on a surrounding horseshoe of land that makes Torquay's gradients seem like molehills.
Life in Brixham centres around the harbour, where we're reminded that this is still a busy, working fishing port - and part of that fresh catch the fishermen are unloading will probably arrive on your dinner table tonight.

You can feel relaxed as you take a morning stroll along the quayside, explore the many harbourside shops, or watch the fishermen unloading their daily catch.

Sample freshly-caught seafood from one of the quayside's fish stalls, or relax in a pub or restaurant and watch life go by.

Away from the harbour you can lose yourself in a maze of narrow, winding streets and within walking distance from the town centre you will find some of the English Riviera's most spectacular scenery.
Sandy beaches and secluded coves give way to the towering cliffs at Berry Head, offering breathtaking views across Tor Bay and the English Channel.
