Murderous mix of mystery and mayhem with over 40 events taking place at venues across the English Riviera.

The undisputed Queen of Crime was born in Torquay in 1890 and this Festival marks the anniversary of her birth on September 15th.

TORRE ABBEY FLOWER FESTIVAL | TORQUAY
11 - 14 September 2009

Phoenix Rising is the theme for this year's flower festival when Torre Abbey will be ablaze with colour and heavy with floral scents.

There will be in excess of 51 exhibits by 50 flower arrangers from Torbay Flower Club, supplemented by Churston with Brixham, Kingsbridge,Teignmouth and Netwon Abbot for this prestigious event.

Open daily from 10am to 6pm (last admission 5pm). Normal Torre Abbey entry prices apply.

PAIGNTON BIKE NIGHTS

BMAD Paignton Bike Night

Paignton Bike Night has been running since 2003 and has become the largest social gathering of bikers in the South West of England on a regular basis.

The bikers (Harleys to Vespas) pay £1.00 to enter the seafront. The entrance fees collected by BMAD (Bikers Make A Difference) go to charities such as Devon Air Ambulance. (£30,000 was raised by BMAD in 2007.)
